Who we are
Real humans, real email addresses. Jerry runs a handful of companies; Beth keeps everything from going sideways. Together they've built a life that mixes security operations with stoic philosophy, property management with national park trails, and strong coffee with stronger opinions about books — all shared with two very opinionated dogs.
Founder · CISO · Operator
Jerry runs three companies — a cybersecurity services firm, a property and asset management operation, and a small press — while also doing web work for select clients. He serves as a fractional CISO for organizations that need serious security leadership without the overhead. When he's not in operator mode, he's reading Marcus Aurelius, hiking a trail somewhere, or mid-project on something made of either code or hardware.

Beth is the other half of this operation — she shares a last name, a home in the Dallas, NC area, and an appetite for wherever the next trip takes them. She's also co-parent to Jax and Narah, which is its own full-time role. Her section of this site is, appropriately, her own space to do with as she sees fit.

The pack
Jax "Jackson" Fowler, the blue American Bully who runs the house. Narah Saru, the St. Shepherd (½ St. Bernard / ½ German Shepherd) who believes she is also a lapdog despite all evidence to the contrary. They have strong opinions about hikes, road trips, and who gets the best spot on the bed.
Out there
We've made it a point to get to national parks and historic sites all over the country. Hoover Dam to the Everglades, Biltmore at Christmas to a St. Augustine fortress — the kind of places that reset your sense of scale.
